Loss of Faith & Aversion to Tradition in Contemporary Israeli Literature

In an age marked by an absence of certainty and a rebellion against the religion of the past, contemporary Israeli artists treat religious themes that often smack of spirituality. Our reading and discussion of striking Israeli poems expose us to fascinating works that border on both the mystical and the atheistic. Do we ever share a similar religious outlook?
