KB Goodkin is the Director of Community Engagement and Advancement at the Jewish Federation of Northeastern New York. Over her 9 years there, she re-branded NENY’s young leadership department, instituted new methods for engagement to partnerships within community agencies, and is widely seen as an expert in engagement methodology.
KB’s personal mission is to provide tools and education for folks to empower themselves within their Jewish experiences and take ownership of their communities. She works to create a pluralistic environment which cultivates Jewish identity among its members in a meaningful and personal way.
Prior to her move to Northeastern New York, KB worked as an award winning Hillel Director and Adult Education Coordinator in Richmond VA and Jewish Family Educator in Detroit. In her spare time, she is a doula, amateur foodie, and very famous shower singer. Most importantly, KB is the mommy of three hooligans and wife of the Most Patient Man in the World.
