Join us on Friday evenings as we welcome Shabbat with joyous song. Service times are listed in our printed and digital Shabbat Sheets, our bi-monthly Bulletin, and our Service Times calendar.
Our Friday Night Fun series, primarily during the summer months, as well as periodic Shabbat dinners, in conjunction with our Shabbat Around the World series, Camp Givah or young families group enhance our celebration of Shabbat.
We serve a light meal after the Shabbat afternoon service during which we sing Zemirot (Shabbat melodies) with the Cantor and study with the Rabbi. We conclude Shabbat with the evening service and Havdallah.
Shabbat Morning Services
Shabbat morning is a wonderful time to mark significant moments in our lives, such as anniversaries and birthdays, births, Bar and Bat Mitzvah celebrations, and aufrufs.
Our monthly Tot Shabbat for young children is filled with songs, stories, snacks, and surprises, and our SHABBATeen service brings the fun of summer camp Shabbat experiences to synagogue with prayer, games, and singing.
Our unique treatment of the Torah reading at our Shabbat morning services has become a model around the country. The Torah reading is an opportunity for you to learn with the Rabbi. Service times and information about special events taking place on a given Shabbat are published in our weekly printed and digital Shabbat Sheets, our bi-monthly Bulletin, and our Service Times calendar.
We hold morning and evening services every day. Our regular morning minyan times are below. Our evening minyan meets Sundays through Thursdays throughout the year, although minyan time varies based on the season.
Monday and Thursday
Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
On Sundays, our minyan is followed by a light breakfast. On Thursdays, we spend a short time learning with the Rabbi after the conclusion of minyan.
Changes to our regular minyan times are published in our printed and digital Shabbat Sheets, in bi-monthly Bulletin, and in our Service Times calendar above.
